Gel Documentation & Analysis System is used for analysing and researching into the gel, films and blots after the electrophoresis experiment. It is a basic device with ultraviolet light source for visualizing and photographing the gels stained with fluorescent dyes like ethidium bromide, and with white light source for visualizing and photographing the gels stained with dyes like coomassie brilliant blue.

YSTE-Gel13B Gel Documentation & Analysis System is strong and compact with a viewing window. The glass plate of the viewing window is ultraviolet ray intercepting glass, it can protect your eyes. On the top of the apparatus, there is a cylinder connectting the digital camera with the box.You can use the digital camera to take the picture of the gel under the UV light or white light and then input the picture into the computer. With the help of the relevant special analysis software, you can analyse the images of DNA, RNA, protein gel, thin-layer chromatography, etc. once and for all. And finally you can get the peak value of the band, molecular weight or base pair, area, height, position, volume or the total number of the samples. It is suitable for Lab of university or hospital, scientific research institutions engaged in the research of biological engineering science, agriculture and forestry science, etc.
The system mainly consists of UV lamphouse (UV transillumination source), white light lamphouse (white light transillumination source), viewing cabinet and the optional accessories. UV lamphouse and white light lamphouse are roll-in-and-roll-out drawer design, it is convenient for you to use them. There are some holes in the back of the apparatus, which are used for heat elimination.
